H.O.U.S.E.: (Hands of Understanding Socialization Encounter)
It is our belief that the social
encounter and interaction with others causes person with autism to
experience feelings of anxiety. This anxiety is what causes them
to act out and display unwanted behavior. Through our program we
provide the opportunity for social interaction in an environment
conducive to the specific sensory needs of the person with autism.
In a nut shell Damon’s H.O.U.S.E., simply means Damon’s Hands of Understanding Social Encounter. Through Damon’s House we offer a program and extends hands that assist the person with autism and their family with managing behavior.
